Cryptid Quest

A new Zelda-like experience from the person who brought you an incredibly basic 2D platformer a few months back!

When cryptids and creatures threaten the lives of humans everywhere, only one person (you) can stop them! Explore the dangerous cryptid isles, defeat many different beasts, and take down their leader!

Game Features:

• Classic top-down 2D action-adventure gameplay, inspired by that one game the green elf guy from Smash Bros came from.

• A world made up of three different zones, each with their own unique enemies and environment.

• A good handful of enemies to defeat, each with unique behaviours and sprites.

• Shiny things you can collect (like gems and... gems).

• A final boss that may put your MLG epic gamer skills to the test (do people still say MLG?).

• An upgradable player stat (singular), allowing you to become stronger as you progress (as long as you have the money)!

• Space-age saving technology (that definitely hasn't been common practice since the 90's), ensuring you can quit the game and continue back where you left off!

• Around 5-10 minutes of exhilarating gameplay (although with the right mindset you could probably squeeze an extra 5 minutes out of it).

• A soundtrack containing only the highest quality royalty-free music (incompetech.com is a lifesaver)!

Further Notes:

• Game is download only, as sorting out the web version for the last game was a nightmare.
• If you encounter any bugs, please let me know! I might fix them eventually!
